Dr. Jack Scott

Interim Chief Executive Officer and Director

Dr. Jack Scott has served as a director since September 1, 2014. Dr. Scott has a diverse technical and business background spanning more than 35 years that includes applied research, consulting, sales and sales management, executive positions, and ownership of a group of five recycling and manufacturing businesses, including one joint venture, through a holding company, Canadus Technologies, LLC. Dr. Scott is a founding member of Canadus Technologies, LLC since January 2001. Prior to his experience with Canadus Technologies, LLC, from February 1997 to January 2000 Dr. Scott was President and CEO of Encycle, Inc., a $300 million recycling subsidiary, owned by Asarco, Inc., with more than 1,000 employees. Prior to Encycle, Inc., Dr. Scott held various senior management positions with several other companies in the recycling and manufacturing industries.

Habib Yunus

Chief Financial Officer

A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and an experienced executive with a successful track record of leading teams to deliver results, Yunus previously served as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Vice President of Nasdaq listed Payment Data Systems, Inc. from March 03, 2015 to December 30, 2016. He was responsible for successfully leading the company's uplisting from the OTC Market to NASDAQ, while managing its public reporting requirements including SEC filings, corporate governance and forecasting.

Mr. Yunus has more than 15 years of experience in accounting, finance and investing. Prior to joining Payment Data, he was the Managing Director and Founder of W NRG (Energy) Advisory LLC since January 2013, focused on advising clients on energy investments, joint venture transactions, project management and market research in North America for Asian investors.

Before founding W Energy Advisory, from September 2010 to January 2013, he was the Lead Project Manager for Toyota Tsusho America, Inc., where in 2012 he originated and negotiated a $602 million joint venture between Toyota Tsusho Corporation (Japan) and Encana Corporation. Prior to his position at Toyota Tsusho America, Inc., he served as the Head of Tax and Special Assistant to the Chief Financial Officer of Shinsei Bank Ltd. in Tokyo, Japan from July 2006 to June 2010. From June 1999 to July 2006 he was with Deloitte Tax in Atlanta and Tokyo.

Mr. Yunus holds B.S. in Accounting and Masters of Accounting (Tax specialization) degrees from the University of Florida.

Rick Davis

EVP of Sales & Business Development

Richard Davis (Rick) is a skilled veteran in payments and financial services with more than 20 years of experience in sales, sales leadership and client management. He’s built, redesigned and reengineered numerous direct and indirect sales organizations, both domestically and abroad, each time exceeding goals and expectations.

Prior to joining, Rick spent years with First Data Corporation, Century Payments, WorldPay Inc., ZooZ Inc., and most recently serving as Senior Director of Sales & Partner Solutions North America. During his tenures he held several sales leadership roles including Vice President of Sales Training, Director of Business Development ISO/MSP Regional Sales Manager.

Rick has been recognized throughout his career with numerous accolades including the 2012 Sales Manager of the Year. He also is a five-time President’s Club Winner.(First Data / WorldPay)

Dave Wilson

Senior Vice President of Operations

With more than a decade of industry experience in operations management, Dave is responsible for overseeing Spindle's day to day operations, including cross departmental communication between all Sales, Service & Development teams.

Dave has directed a team of back-office operation specialists, sales-support, customer service, and development teams since coming on board April 2014. His team’s primary goal is to ensure the smooth operation of the Spindle platform internally and externally. Prior to joining the Spindle team, He previously held a management position with Apriva, an industry leader in secure mobile communications and wireless payment processing.
